Kouzai walked into the throne room, it had been years since he set foot in here, he then walked to the window and looked out at the city "It's been a while hasn't it Kali?" he asked "How about we go check out the garden, it's been a while since we've been there...don't forget that place holds importance for us, remember that's where I asked you to marry me" Kouzai smiled as he remembered that, he started to walk towards the garden, as he did a Fire Sage grabbed him by the arm and tried to help him a long. Kouzai stopped walking, the smile washed from his face, he turned around and smaked the Fire Sage with his cane "What the hell do you think your doing! I'm retired not old, I'm only 54 I'm not dead yet! NOw go off and bug someone else" he yelled. The Fire Sage ran out of the room as Kouzai turned around 'Damn Fire Sages, annoying as ever, now come on" he said.

(I figured I'd make a topic for Kouzai and Kali here too)

Kali smiled as Kouzai whacked the Fire Sage. Kali still seemed fit as a fiddle, like she hadn't aged at all. "Well they wouldn't be helping you if you were dead, now would they? Just face it darling, you don't age well." She took his hand and led him down to the garden instead. Hopefully he wouldn't mind her helping him.

"Yeah, well still....I don't feel old, it was Lee I tell you, he made me worry" he said, Kouzai sighed "Oh well, I'd prefer you helping me than a Fire Sage, and I can't hit you like I can a Fire Sage....I'm noy married ot a fire sage, and I can't get the same things from a Fire Sage" he said putting his arms around Kali's waist.

She sighed. Kouzai said a lot of things like this. It could get on her nerves. But she just shook that feeling away. "Yeah, well, get used to it. I'm special." They were in the garden now. The sun filtered and flickered through the clouds, painting a beautiful scene of green and pink and all the colors you could think of. The garden really was a special place. This was enough to make her breathless. "Wow," she gasped.

Kouzai looked at the pond and the lilac tree planted next to it, "Brings back memories, doens't it.....I asked you to marry me here, well actually I asked you to marry me twice before, once in Ba Sing Se, and the other time on Ember Island during a funeral, of course you said no, until we became royalty" he smiled.

"Yes well you can't rush these things. That's what I'm worried about for Lee, I'm afraid that he'll try to pressure Phantom into marrage when she's not ready." Kali brushed her light brown hair out of her face, gazing up at the sun.

"What do you mean not ready it's been four years...and besides you think they've been sitting around wondering what to do these past four years...if Lee waits any longer he'll be my age before he marries her" said Kouzai examining his cane.

Kali frowned and slapped him. "You just say that because you're just as impacient as he is!" Even though saying that, she knew what he said was true.

Kouzai rubbed his cheek, then shook it off he walked off towards the Fire Lords room as if the previous scene hadn't happened "I wonder what they've done to our room..." said Kouzai. Kouzai had learned to manage with Kali hitting him, he got over it fast becuase he got used to it, mostly beucase it happened often.

Kali sighed and watched him walk away. She looked down at the garden bed, and, having nothing better to do, rolled up her sleves and started pulling weeds.

Kouzai walked into the Fire Lords room, and he was surpsied to see not much had changed "Well, looks like Lee hasn't bothered to change this place"

A great gale rushed down upon Kali, and she looked up to see her beloved dragon, Rashana, land with Phantom and Lee. "Well that was quick," was all she could say. "Yeah," Phantom shrugged, "but Lee and I are finally getting married!" She beamed, and Kali returned the gesture. "That's great!"

Kouzai walked with his cane slow and dinified towards Kali and the others, he smiled "Did I here that correctly, you're getting married....Lee asked and you sais yes? Well..." Kouzai looked at Kali with a look that said I told you so. Kouzai walked up to Lee and gave him a fatherly hug "Congradulations!" he said "so when's the wedding?"

Phantom shrugged again. "I really don't care." She looked to Lee. "What do you think?"

"Anytime soon, how about later today, life's too short to wait" he said
