Avatar: The Last Airbender RPG

420 years after the fall of Ozai, decades of tranquility have brought about an era where peace is no longer only a mere philosophical abstraction. However beyond the grasp of the Four Nations, a long lost legacy resurfaces.

THE CHI SYSTEM

Now, while Chi is a largely mysterious concept, the Avatar universe makes it abundantly clear that it IS, in fact, a limited thing, that one draws upon to bend (See also: "I'm almost outta juice!"). So, henceforth, Chi will be measured by numerics. Now, while numbers are cool and all, we're going to try to keep things fun and easy. As such, one's Chi can be increased easily, by doing a topic tagged as [Training]. The amount of Chi recieved depends on one's Word Count in the topic.
To find out how much Chi you recieved, Divide your total word count (not counting other people's posts) by 100. That number is how much your chi is increased by.

For example, say Joe the Earthbender wants a bit more Chi to throw around. He writes a training topic with his friend Bob, the airbender, and writes a total of 5,000 words. He's granted a whopping 50 chi to his Chi pool, and can now bend things much bigger than himself!

Starting Chi counts are as follows:

Non-Benders: 50
Benders: 100
Spirit/Mind Benders: 150
Bijuu: 200
Avatar / Warriors: 250

Watching people bend endlessly didn't sit well with Tsumi. e.e

Tsumi be like:

Jokes aside, the formulas for how much chi is expended per element are listed below. Now, they are listed as SCALE X whatever. SCALE is how much bigger your bending is than your body- for example, if i were to blow a blast of air 3 times my size, then I would put 3 for SCALE.
Note: If the object/element being manipulated is smaller than the user, they would still pay as if it were 1 for SCALE (with some exceptions).

Airbending:

Waterbending:

Earthbending:

Firebending:

Light and Dark Bending:

Spirit Bending:

Nature-Bending:

Mind-Bending:

For Sub-elements, multiply your chi expenditure by 5. There are several exceptions to this, that have their own formula.
For Mastery elements, multiply your Chi expenditure for that element by 10.
For Combination elements, go through the chi formula for BOTH required elements.

-----------------------------

CHI FATIGUE

Chi is, in essence, one's very life force. Now, while it does regenerate naturally, it regenerates VERY slowly, though the process is accelerated when unconscious. It takes a total of 8 hours to fully regenerate one's Chi.
As one spends it, they lose the very force that keeps them going. Below is listed the consequences of losing one's Chi.

100% - 51% : All is well.

50% - Light Fatigue.

30% - Moderate Fatigue.

20 Points Remaining- Damage to chi pathways- Chi can now only be filled to 80%, until one visits a spiritual healer.

10 Points Remaining- Comatose, for 7 days.

0% - Death.

I also just want to add the new policy for listing chi! It wil,l not be listed on ones profile, save for the maximum amount of chi one is allowed to hold. Your full "chi bar" as one may call it, that shows how much you CAN have and how much you DO have, for example, 100/100 or 80/500, is to be posted at the top of ALL POSTS, even in topics that do not require you to fight! That way, in case you do end up needing to expend chi, we all know how much you got, and how much you can use. The start of each new topic allows you to start off with a full chi bar, but once chi is used it can only be replenished through rest or over time, meaning 2 chi per non-combat posts.

Also! Please note! Any topics involving fights prior to the posting of this information need not comply to it! Topics started AFTER this system and topic came into being, especially ones created AFTER that involve a fight, MUST USE THE CHI SYSTEM.

Thank you.

So, I'm guessing because of the comments, the Chi System is not a thing anymore?
